What to do in Sedona on Thanksgiving?

Happy Thanksgiving to you!  Get ready to have some fun this long weekend.  Thanksgiving is a great time to enjoy Sedona.  The fall weather is perfect with cooler temperatures and the leaves are still falling from the trees.  Of course, the Sedona red rocks are beautiful all year long.

Check out the annual Sedona Turkey Trot.  This 5K race is the perfect family activity for Thanksgiving.  The race happens at the Sedona Posse Grounds.

Free Thanksgiving Dinner at the Coffee Pot Restaurant.  A Sedona tradition for years, dinner is served from 3pm until 6pm.  Free to everyone, but donations are gladly accepted.  Coffee Pot Restaurant is located at 2050 W. SR 89A in Sedona.

Fee Free Day at Red Rock State Park.  Red Rock State Park is open from 8am until 2pm, so get there early to enjoy everything the park has to offer.

The Chapel of the Holy Cross is open on Thanksgiving.

Every Sedona hike is open for Thanksgiving! Crowds will be on the trail, so either hit the trails early or later in the day.

Saturday is Small Business Saturday.  Make sure to hit up the local Sedona restaurants and gift shops to show your appreciation for them.
