Christmas in Sedona

What is happening in Sedona this Christmas?

There’s plenty of Christmas spirit in Sedona this year for everyone to enjoy.  During the day, you have the beauty of the red rocks and at night the city lights up with Christmas cheer.  Here is a list of some of the best places to see Christmas lights in Sedona

Tlaquepaque and Tlaquepaque North

The official Christmas tree in Sedona can be found at Tlaquepaque North in the courtyard.  The City of Sedona has their official tree lighting ceremony on December 2nd, 2022 from 5pm until 7pm.

Tlaquepaque is also beautifully lit and is home to the city’s Menorah.

Uptown Sedona

Uptown Sedona is decorated for Christmas.  Look at all the fun decorations beginning with the water tank on the hill which has its traditional Christmas tree which is visible from miles away in Sedona.  In the past few years, the city of Sedona has decorated uptown with many fine decorations for the perfect opportunity for pictures.  This lighted ornament is located off Forest Road and SR 89A behind the Chamber of Commerce visitor building and in the courtyard by Chipotle.  All main street, you’ll find a huge 30 foot Christmas tree and you can’t miss the elevator building by Mattehorn Shops which is completely covered in lights.

Photo Opportunities at the Sedona Heritage Museum:  The Sedona Heritage Museum has many holiday decorations for your family to enjoy! There is a  fun tumbleweed snowman, some reindeer and Sedona’s old time fire truck decorated in Christmas cheer.  The gift shop at the Sedona Heritage Museum is open daily, 11am-7pm.
